About Peter

Peter Zongting Li is a highly skilled music editorial and sound post-production specialist based in Los Angeles, renowned for his contributions to the fields of Films, Animations, and TV.

With a strong foundation in the industry, Peter has collaborated with esteemed music editor Shie Rozow, serving as his assistant music editor. Additionally, he has provided invaluable support to acclaimed Film/TV composers such as Daniel Alcheh ("Five Piece" 2018) and Edwin Wendler ("X-Men: Days of Future Past" 2014), playing a pivotal role in preparing recording sessions, mixing sessions, editing, and conforming.

Beyond his remarkable work in music editorial, Peter is a multifaceted artist. He has garnered recognition for his exceptional music composition, sound design, and mixing capabilities across numerous films. His exceptional score for "Roller Coaster" earned him the esteemed "Best Score" award, while his masterful sound design in "Rebirth" secured the prestigious "Best Sound Design" accolade from Top Shorts in June 2023. Furthermore, Peter's enthralling score for "Milky Way" was honored with the esteemed "Best Score" recognition at the Festigious international film festival. His outstanding musical contributions were once again celebrated when his score for "Midnight Garden" received the coveted "Critics' Choice Award" from World Film Carnival (WFC) in 2023.

Peter Li's pursuit of excellence extends to his academic achievements. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in audio engineering from the prestigious CalArts ESP program in 2020, and subsequently attained his master's degree in Music Composition for the Film MFA program from Columbia College Chicago in 2022. These academic milestones have further enriched his profound understanding of sound, music, and their role in the world of visual media.
